In the News: Oregon Teens Encouraged To Think Beyond High School College Application Week

La Pine High School will be participating in College Application Week, and their local radio station called CAW staff to learn more:

Over the next two weeks, the state will work with students and parents across Oregon to help young people apply for college.  Adrienne Enriquez, Oregon College Application Week coordinator, told KBNW News this is an ideal time to plan for college, plan for saving and to apply.

Special Note: the last line of the article indicates that most of Oregon's priviate colleges do not accept the Common Application. That is true, however 8 of them do accept the application, including five which are exclusive users of the form. Students who are interested in attending one of these colleges and have experienced problems with submitting their applications should contact the admission office to inquire about next steps.
